LEVIT, DR. HERBERT I: On Friday, April 1, 2016; Beloved husband of Barbara Levit. Loving father of Deborah (Mark) Weingarden and David E. (Susan) Levit. Grandpa of Jonathan Weingarden, Hilary Weingarden and Jacob Levit. Dr. Levit had a long career as a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist. He was Director of Psychology at Dixmont and Woodville State Hospitals and in private practice. He and his wife, Barbara traveled the world in birding expeditions and were enthusiastic bird watchers. Most important in his life were his wife, children and grandchildren to whom he was devoted. Services and Interment Private.
