GARDENER, MD, RALPH: On Tuesday, June 28, 2016; Spouse of Audrey Gardener, PhD. Cherished father of Amanda R. Gardener and Carly R. Gardener. Dr. Gardener completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Case Western Reserve and Ohio State. After completing psychiatric residency he enlisted in the Airforce where he was discharged as a Captain. Dr. Gardener was a significant member of the Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Center serving as a teacher and mentor. He maintained a private practice for over 40 years in Shadyside. He was a dedicated Psychoanalyst who genuinely cared for those he helped. Memorial Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 3 PM.
