HEIT, DORIS A.: On Tuesday, October 25, 2016; Beloved wife of 54 years to Allan Heit. Loving mother of Laury Hoose, Rikki (Greg) Matthews and Harry (Lori) Heit. Sister of Dr. Meyer (Cheryl) Heyman and Zol (Kathy) Heyman. "Doey" of Zach Hoose (Megan Hollinger) and Abby, Amelia and Naomi Heit. Great-grandmother of Levi Hoose. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Doris worked at Charles Morris Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for many years. She started as a volunteer and retired as the Director of Activities after 27 years of service. She was loved by all and will be sorely missed. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Friday at 11 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services (10 - 11 AM). Interment Temple Sinai Memorial Park. Allan and family. I am very sad to hear of Doris passing. I had the pleasure of working with her at CM. What a wonderful person I enjoyed knowing her and working with her. She will be missed by many.

Dear Allan, Laury, Rikki and Harry: Deepest sympathies to you all. Doris was loved by everyone who knew her. She was my childhood idol and I still think about her with great memory. May she rest in peace.
