LEBOWITZ, MILTON: 89 years old, died on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 after a long and difficult illness. He was born in Glassport, PA and was a graduate of Glassport High School and University of Pittsburgh School of Business and became the quintessential clothing salesman. His career spanned five decades beginning with buyer of the Princess Shop at Kaufmann's department store, then onto the Casual Post in McKeesport and his longest stint in the retailing market was as buyer of Silverman's Mens Clothing Stores. When that group closed, Milt went on to Ralph Lauren and then finally his last retail years were with Joseph A. Bank, where he could be found always looking the part of a well turned out gentleman with his ever present measuring tape around his neck. His loyal customers followed him throughout his career. Milt leaves his wife of 58 years, Sally (Eisenstat) and his two sons, David (Audrey Giberman) of McLean, VA and Larry (Lynn Rubenstein); six adored grandchildren and four precious great-grandchildren. A sister, Helen (Don) Berman and  many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Milt was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Ruth Bernstein. Milt was a true hands on dad to his two boys. He was present at all sports events in which they were involved and loved all sports especially when he attended or watched with his boys. Milt was a true Steelers and Pirates fan. He loved running and did that for many years before his illness. He will be missed by so many people.
