WOLFSON, DAVID: Of East Windsor, NJ, Age 89, died Friday, March 10, 2017 after a brief illness. Born January 31, 1928 in the Bronx, NY to artist and inventor William Wolfson of Pittsburgh, and secretary Ella (Mirelson) Wolfson of New York, NY.  His parents had lived in Pittsburgh prior to his birth. Wolfson was a competitive long distance runner in high school, and served as an air raid warden during WWII.  He went on to study at Farragut Institute of Technology and Sampson College, before embarking upon a career in television and film as an actor and producer in Los Angeles and New York. He enjoyed chess, heated political discussions (he was a red diaper baby), and playing baseball with his son. He had a special talent for voice impersonations and storytelling. He greatly valued the company of his wife, visiting with his son, grandchildren and daughter-in-law, and caring for his pet dogs, Tasha and Buddy.  He is survived by his wife, Ina, his son, attorney Evan William Wolfson (Blair Preiser) of South Fayette, and grandchildren Joseph, Caden, and Eliana.  Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside  on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 11 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services (10 - 11 AM). Interment Tree of Life Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
