WOLFSON, M.D., JEROME "JERRY": On Wednesday, March 15, 2017; beloved husband of Joan (Colter) Wolfson; loving father of Evan (Cheng He) Wolfson, Alison (Patty Perhacs) Wolfson, David (Nancy) Wolfson, M.D. and Michael Wolfson; grandpa of Emily, Ben, Charlie and Simon Wolfson. Dr. Wolfson was co-founder of Bass-Wolfson Pediatrics. For 40 years Jerry practiced pediatrics, and made a real difference in the lives of so many children and families and the Pittsburgh community. His style of care valued humor and strong connections with families along with medical expertise. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Friday at 2 PM. Visitation one hour prior to services (1 - 2 PM). Interment Homewood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Jewish Association on Aging, 200 JHF Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15217. www.schugar.com

Dear David and family, Our deepest sympathies to all of you. Dr. Wolfson was a true gem of a pediatrician and a truly lovely man. He took such good care of our children over the years. May his memory be a blessing to each of you.
