Rosenthal, Sidney P. Of East End, on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis Rosenthal. Loving father of Paul (Paula) Rosenthal of North Potomac, MD and Richard (Carol) Rosenthal of Pittsburgh. Grandfather of Michael (Lauren) Rosenthal and Philip Christy. Great grandfather of Paige and Clara Rosenthal. Brother of Phyllis Dale and the late Maurice, Leonard and Jack Rosenthal. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Sidney was the Manager of Gelman Loan Company for over 50 years. He was also a member of the Jewish War Veterans as well as Adath Jeshurun Congregation. Graveside Service and Interment will be held on Sunday at 2 PM at Adath Jeshurun Cemetery. Paul and Richard. I was so sorry to see in this morning's paper the announcement of your Dad's passing. He was more than a relative to me. For years he was a mentor during the time I spent at the store; a source of wonderful as well as scary war stories he told from his time in the service; a man who showed me what hard work and dedication to his family and job looked like He had a long life and he was so proud of both of you. Although I have lost touch with your side of the family over the years, Sid was a guy I never forgot. May he rest in peace.
