KMEC, MARSHA GELMAN; Formerly of Pittsburgh, passed suddenly Thursday 10 August in Orange County, CA. Marsha truly brightened the lives of all she knew and met by virtue of her caring, sincere nature and famously radiant smile. Marsha had recently retired from a successful career as Medical Librarian at the UCLA Medical Center. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her, but most notably her husband Jim Kmec (formerly of Mt Lebanon), sons Chase and Christopher, her deeply devoted and loving sister, Paula (Gelman) Dunn, and brother-in-law, Alan Dunn. “Meg” also leaves behind an exceptionally strong and mutually adoring bond with her three nephews, Bary, Scott, and Brian Dunn. Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Maish Gelman. A service will be held in tribute to this beautiful woman Thursday, 17 August @ 7:00 PM at Beth Shalom Synagogue, 5915 Beacon Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15217. In lieu of flowers, donations will be appreciated to Our Clubhouse, 2816 Smallman Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222and the NCJW “Back to School Project,” 1620 Murray Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217.
