Bette, Marshall and Clifford: We were very saddened to learn of Hal’s passing. What a true gentleman and wonderful example to have as a mentor. Hal nurtured me and made me a better human being. He was a pillar in the Jewish Community and was one of my most helpful counselor upon my conversion. He was one of the funniest, worst singers ever. I never hear “Don’t cry for me Argentina” without hearing his rendition. My life is better because of Hal Bigler and we offer our deepest condolences to you and the family.

Hal was a rare and complete gentleman. I only had the privilege of knowing him the past few years as a friend of my friend Umberto. I never failed to be impressed with his intelligence, dancing eyes and kindness. His love for his wife and family were palpable. The world is less gentle a place with his unfortunate passing. My condolences to those who knew and loved him
