LOWY, SYBIL S.: Quietly on Wednesday, November 28, 2012; Beloved wife of the late Dr. Alexander Lowy for 49 years. They met at the Mayo Clinic where Sybil was a Dietician and Al was doing his residency and internship. A longtime member of Rodef Shalom and past President of its Sisterhood, West Penn Hospital (where her husband practiced internal medicine for 37 years) and its Ladies Guild. Survived by loving children Alex of Philadelphia, Dr. Howard of Boston, Arlene and Eddie (Ricardo) of Pittsburgh, grandson Jordan (Angelica) of Los Angeles, brother David of New York and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be remembered but missed by family and friends. Graveside Services and Interment will be held on Sunday at 1 PM at West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Congregation.
