BACKAL, MYRNA FRAND KLOSS: On Thursday, October 31, 2013; Beloved wife of the late Benjamin Kloss and the late Milton Backal. Loving mother of Herbert Kloss, MD of Seattle, WA and Sherry Kloss of IN. Sister of Lillian Frand (Jules) Silberg of Sarasota, FL. Adored grandmother of Arielle Elizabeth Kloss, Elana Rose Kloss and Levi Benjamin Kloss. Always a friend to her nieces, nephews, a cousin and dear friends. The epitome of humanism, she was a passionate writer, musician, educator and she continued learning every moment of her life. Graveside services and interment will be held on Sunday at 11 AM at Shaare Zedeck Cemetery. Contributions may be made to all pursuits of education in Pittsburgh. Our prayers are with the family of aunt Myrna ...although I don't have memories of her surviving children I have fond memories and love for your mom from my childhood. my family send their love and prayers at this time of your loss. we are so sorry to hear about the sudden passing of your dear mother. It must be very shocking. You had shared many stories of your dear mother while worked together with us in GA room. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. It made me go back many years when we were in high school and spent so much in each other's house. I guess the last time I saw you, your sister and your Mom was June of 2006 when you were in town.
