KRAUS, JANICE RUTH: Age 63 of Pittsburgh, on Tuesday, January 20, 2015; Beloved daughter of Anita and the late Dr. Burton Kraus of Delray Beach, FL and Somerset, PA. Sister of Beth (William Elnick) Weinstein of Havertown, PA. Aunt of Nicholas (Alissa) Weinstein of Lititz, PA. Janice was a 1969 graduate of Somerset Area Senior High School and a 1975 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Masters in elementary education and certification as a reading specialist. Her college education included a year of study in France. Janice taught in the Armstrong County and Pittsburgh Public school districts as a reading specialist and elementary teacher retiring in 2008. Interment Tree of Life Memorial Park. A memorial service to be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
