LOY: Jay K.; On Friday, July 21, 2023. Beloved husband for 41 years of Carol Rosenson Loy. Loving father of Andrew (Melissa) Loy of Connellsville, PA and Geoffrey (Bethany) Loy of Pittsburgh, PA. Brother of Beverly Loy Taylor of Pittsburgh, PA. Beloved grandfather, "Jay Jay," of Alex, Max, Reagan, and Ryen Loy. Jay was a lifelong mental health professional and a truly positive influence on many. He was a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Southwestern Veterans' Center, the PA Western Regional Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, and in his own successful private practice. His greatest passions were his family (sons and grandchildren), motorcycle riding, Scuba diving (a Master Scuba Diver), history, and music (especially big band/World War II era music and classic rock). Jay was always the life of the party, laughing and making jokes. Services will be held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc, 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside.
