KATHY PETERSON: Kathy Peterson, 79 of Bridgewater passed away on April 30, 2025 at Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born in New Brighton, Pennsylvania to Charles and Gladys Goehring on February 25, 1946.

Trips to Myrtle Beach, antiquing, taking long rides and watching all seasons of Survivor with her son Heath were some of her favorite things to do. She was most proud of her grandson Goehring. Spring time was her favorite time of year.

At her side when she passed with her son Heath and his wife, Amanda, her longtime friend and companion of 41 years Emmett Porter and his Daughter Amy (Roger) Gilbert.

She is also survived by her two sisters, Bette (Late Woody) Magness and Cheryl (Paul) Tunno, grandson Goehring and nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all.
