SEYMOUR KORNBLUTH: Peacefully, on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the age of eighty-four. Born in Montreal to the late Aaron and the late Chane Kornbluth. Brother of the late Martin Kornbluth and Roslyn (Kornbluth) Rosenblatt. Seymour will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews, Alan, Donna, Susan and David and their families, as well as by his many friends and extended family members. He will be fondly remembered by his closest friends, Bobby and Edith, Jonathan, Allison, and Heather Markoff, and by Bernie and Rhona Blanshay, with whom he played cards and traveled with for over fifty years. Seymour worked as a financial executive at Balcan Plastics for more than four decades helping to build the company from a start-up to a major manufacturer in its industry. He was an avid lover of the arts, especially photography, music and theater, and traveled extensively with friends and family. His friendly nature and sense of humor endeared him to all who knew him. Graveside service on Thursday, January 18 at 2:00 at Beth Shalom Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
