ARNHEIM: Kathy Wolf Arnheim passed away swiftly and unexpectedly on Sunday December 28, 2025. She was a strong and resilient Breast Cancer survivor of over 30 years.
Born on August 1, 1948 to the late Irwin and Flossie (Cromer) Wolf. Kathy was the cherished wife of the late Stuart Arnheim, beloved mother of Julie Arnheim and Rachel (David) Neuhaus, and devoted Grandmother of Alex and Ben Neuhaus. She is also survived by her sister Dana Egert and brother Casey (Trina) Wolf and also Sandy, wife of deceased brother Andrew. She is also survived by Sister-in-law Nancy Arnheim Rosenthal, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Kathy was a graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School and attended the University of Miami. Kathy joined her husband as a Realtor with Arnheim & Neely, selling Condos, Co-ops, and managing commercial properties.
She was the light of the family, made sure everyone's feelings were taken into account, and invited all to get together for holidays and other reasons. Kathy was the rock of her family and friends, a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, and a source of joy to anyone who knew her.
Continuing her family's legacy, Kathy was passionate about serving in the Jewish Community. She held volunteer roles as Membership Chair of NCJW, President of the Ladies Hospital Aide Society, and a Board member of Rodef Shalom Congregation. Along with lifelong friend Holly Dobkin, they ran the Rodef Shalom Gift Corner/Gift Shop. She was also a very active, long-time supporter and Trustee with Jewish Women's Foundation.
Weaving together a variety of people to create pathways for new friendships to flourish. Kathy will be deeply missed at many card tables by her Maj Jong and Canasta friends.
Being a hostess and cooking for others were among her greatest passions. She was on the cookbook committee for the Rodef Shalom Sisterhood, helping to test recipes. The cookbook is called The Best of the Best, and her Caponata recipe is found in there. Many think Kathy was The Best of the Best in every way she connected with them.
Services at Rodef Shalom Temple, 4905 Fifth Avenue (at Morewood) on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 11 AM. Visitation at Temple on hour prior to services (10 AM - 11 AM). Interment Private.
