Josh began working at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. full-time in 2021, though he spent many days growing up running the sweeper in the chapel and washing the hearse.  He graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2024 and became a 4th generation licensed funeral director in 2025.  While finding his purpose in funeral service, his passion lies in various creative endeavors, most predominantly music and music technology.  In his free time, Josh is an avid chess learner and musician.  He also enjoys skiing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with he and his partner’s 2 dogs: Dougie and Molly.
