JONAS, JUNE (BERMAN): On Sunday, June 26, 2016; Beloved wife of 65 years of Hans Jonas. Beloved mother of Carol Jonas, Marla Jonas and Amy Jonas (Tim Platt). Sister of the late Jean Lilienthal and Eudy Berman. Grandmother of Julie and Jack Mangurten and Leo Berzon. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, long time friends and Isabella the cat. June was a dedicated docent at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium for over 25 years. She was a recreational therapist for over 20 years at Montefiore Hospital as well as a member of the Ladies Hospital Aid Society. She loved the Steelers and was a big Pittsburgh sports fan, a world traveler, bridge player and a talented artist and knitter. June was devoted to her friends and family. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc, 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Tuesday at 11 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services (10 - 11 AM). Interment B'nai Israel Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the June Jonas Camp Scholarship Fund at The Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium, One Wild Place, Pittsburgh, PA  15206.  www.schugar.com
