Bernard Kirshenbaum

KIRSHENBAUM, BERNARD: Age 90, died on September 18, 2016 at his home in Shadyside, after driving himself home from the Giant Eagle. He was born in Pittsburgh and lived there his entire life. He attended Harvard College. He was an investor, a business owner, and an executive at the Ivy School of Professional Art. He read the NY Times every day, and was smart, independent and generous. He was predeceased by his parents Abe and Anna Kirshenbaum, his sister Betty Charlson, his brother Morris Kirshenbaum and his long-time partner Carole Katz. He is survived by his nieces Joy Cohen, Ava Doppelt and Lyn and Susan Kirshenbaum, his nephew Adam Kirshenbaum, and their families. A memorial gathering is planned for a future date.
