ETHEL "ETTY" (LEIBOVITZ) LEVINE: Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the age of 100. She was married to the love of her life, the late Sidney "Schmully" Levine for 55 years. She was one of eight children. She was born and raised in the Hill District, where she met her husband. She was a kind, compassionate caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived with her daughter Marcia for the past sixteen years in Jacksonville, FL. Her children and family were her life. She was the daughter of Zeilig and Hanna Leibovitz. She is survived by her four children, Andrea Kush of Greensburg, Jackie and Larry Drysdale of Ontario, Canada, Marcia Levine of Jacksonville, FL and Zale and Karen Levine of North Huntingdon. She was the beloved sister of the late Manny, Harry, Joe, Shloy, Izzy, Sarah and Rae "Ootchey" Leibovitz. Beloved grandmother of Dan and Jessica Drysdale of Ontario, Canada and beloved great-grandmother of Jada, Logan and Brody Drysdale of Ontario, Canada. She made everybody that she met feel like family. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Sunday at 11 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services, (10 - 11 AM). So sorry to hear of Etty's passing. What a nice lady!! Sincere condolences to the Levine family.

Etty was a rare jewel. Her love of life and laughter was contagious. I will always be thankful to be a small part of her life and earthly family. She and Schmully were blessed by a beautiful love. Well done. Mat she Rest In Peace

I am so blessed to have known Etty. She was one of the most beautiful, upbeat people that I knew. The world has lost a wonderful soul but she will enrich all the souls in heaven. Love to the entire Levine family. With sincere sympathy.
