FRIED, MAURICE J.: On Wednesday, April 6, 2016; Beloved husband of over 50 years to Esther Fried. Loving father of Jeffrey (Jen) Fried. Uncle of Karen Oakes. The family wishes to give special thanks to caregivers, Gwyn Coles, Cathy Hundrick and Adrianne Satterwhite. Mr. Fried was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was a longtime basketball coach for General Braddock Junior High and teacher at Woodland Hills. He enjoyed his membership at New Light Congregation. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 1 PM. Visitation one hour prior to services, (12 Noon - 1 PM). Interment Agudath Achim Cemetery, Forest Hills.
