HEISS, KENNETH P.: On Friday, August 19, 2016; Beloved husband of Gail (Gordon) Heiss. Loving father of Laura Jean (Peter) Jannis of Boynton Beach, FL and  Aaron (Anne) Heiss of Cleveland, OH. Son of the late Max and Ethel Heiss. Brother of Rita (late Albert "Jack") Mellinger of Pittsburgh, PA and Ian (Sandie) Heiss of Pittsburgh, PA. Grandfather of Jacob, Ethan and Tira Heiss. Also survived by  nieces and nephews. Ken served in the U.S. Air Force and was a businessman and entrepreneur.  Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside on Monday,  August 22, 2016 at 11 AM.  Visitation one hour prior to services (10 - 11 AM).  Interment Torath Chaim Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Southwest Veteran Center, 7060 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA  15206.  www.schugar.com

Condolences

Kenny will be missed. I wish I could be with the family at this time. My love and thoughts are with you.

My deepest condolences to the family. Ken and I were best friends at Fulton Elementary, and through much of high school. At his house or mine we would play chess, do homework, and fool around with magic tricks. Later on, we would double date. Great memories remain. All the best to everyone.

To Gail and family, My thoughts are with you, hard to be far away at these times remember Ken always interested in what "you" were doing. Gentle, kind man
