FRIEDLAND, RUTH L.: On Monday, October 17, 2016; Beloved wife of the late Samuel J. Friedland. Beloved mother of Geanne M. (Richard Dean) Thompson and Nathan (Ilene) Friedland. Sister of Henry Parish. Grandmother of Leah (Anthony) Selvaggio, Benjamin (Brittany) Friedland, Samuel (Misha) Thompson and Jeremy Friedland. Great-grandmother of Arya Thompson, Anya and Enzo Selvaggio. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Wednesday at 1 PM. Although i cannot be physically present, my heart is with the extended Friedland family. My deepest sympathies and all of my love! Herb and Dad send condolences and love to all. We will all miss her! May her memory always be a blessing
