SPODEK, SAUL S.: On Sunday, February 12, 2017; Most beloved  husband of Diana Spodek. Beloved, devoted and caring father of Marvin (Kara) Spodek, Sheila (Paul) Feldman and Michele (Mark) Weinstock. Beloved brother of Howard  Spodek. Proud Papa to Maura, Kayla, Zachary, Zoe, Brian, Elizabeth, Micaela and Max. Also survived by special cousin Nathan Firestone and special friend James Cohen. Saul was the founder and owner of Spodek Insurance Agency for 57 years until his retirement in 2014. He was past president of B'nai Emunoh Synagogue and Kiwanis Club of Squirrel Hill. He was a member of B'nai Emunoh Chabad, Tree of Life/Or L'Simcha and Young Peoples Synagogues. When he realized that golf was not his game, he devoted his time to gardening and planting his dahlias.Thru the years his devoted physicians deserve recognition, Dr. Donna Knupp, Dr. Scott Recalde, Dr. Ricci Minella and Dr. Joel Weinberg. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 11 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services, (10 - 11 am). Interment Homewood Cemetery.
