POMERANTZ, DAVID: On Saturday, December 9, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Elaine Fox Pomerantz. Beloved father of Jolene (Rich) Brozi, Shelley (Joe) Tavis and Sanford (Ann) Pomerantz. David was preceded in death by his siblings; Bella Levine, Harold, Sidney and William Pomerantz. Grandfather of Jessica (Shawn) Bulsak, Stephanie (Daryl) Lucas, Amanda (John) Bonar, Jason (Melissa) Owens, Daniel Pomerantz, Jeremy Pomerantz and the late Joshua Tavis. Great-grandfather of Nicole, Dallas, Jacob, Olivia, C.J., Brooklyn, Atley, Hayden, Greysen, Hudsen, William and Ajay. Also survived by nieces and nephews. David proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Washington in the South Pacific during World War II. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Tuesday at 11 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services (10 - 11 AM). Interment Ohav Zedeck Cemetery, Shaler Township.
