Kubrin, Emery P.; On Sunday, September 2, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Kubrin. Beloved father of Alan Kubrin of Pittsburgh and Debra Whitehead of Annapolis, MD. Former father-in-law of Gail Kubrin and Brad Whitehead. Brother of the late Sylvia Weitzman, Minnie Rubinstein and Mildred Kubrin. Grandfather of Amanda Whitehead, Davita Kubrin and Koby Kubrin. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Wednesday at 11 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services (10 - 11 AM). Interment Torath Chaim Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. www.schugar.com

With deepest sympathy at this time of sorrow.
I am very glad to have had the opportunity to know Mr. Kubrin.
I will always remember the story he told about the high school football coach who wanted
him to be on the team, but due to the choice he made he did not become a member of
the football team.
