Joy & Elie & Family, I grieve with you on your loss of David & Cecil. I'm not sure if you remember me or not. I was the supported work manager at Parc-Way in the strip. I worked with David when he was employed at the CVS in Squirrel Hill. Tried to get into the funeral but was unable to find a parking spot. If you still are in the Pgh. area & have the time I would love to visit with you. Marge Saban 412 417 6105

Dear Rosenthal family, I am so very sorry for your loss. David was truly an exceptional individual and I feel truly blessed to have known him. He would always ask "How's the family?" and playfully banter during our conversations. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Debbie Bodell

Elie and Joy, Words fail me in trying to express our deepest sympathy on the tragic loss of your David and Cecil. I remember treasured conversations with both of you when our mothers of blessed memory were on the Ellsworth unit at Charles Morris so many years ago. May your beautiful memories of Cecil and David give you strength at this difficult time.

We in the Montreal Jewish community stand with you during this very difficult time. On Monday of this week, more than one-thousand Jews stood shoulder to shoulder with you in our local temple condemning hatred and anti semitism in all forms. L’Chaim!! Buruch Dayan Emet.

Dearest Family and Friends, Words just cannot express how saddened I am for your tragic loss, and I send my heartfelt condolences. David’s kindness and gentle spirit will be dearly missed by all in the community and at work. Please continue to focus on those happy days when you were all together as family and friends, and cherish the good memories. Good memories are God’s gift to us. May they provide solace for you. King David said God is close to the brokenhearted and those crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18, 19). God is for you a safe place and strength; a help that is readily found in times of pain and distress. He will comfort you and give you the courage and strength to cope, just as he did for David, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses. May he comfort your broken hearts also.

My sincerest condolences from a father with 2 boys who have Fragile X. I didn't know Cecil or David, but everything I've read sounds like my sons. Although 40 years younger, I hope they grow up to be half the men Cecil and David were. The world is less bright without them. May they rest in peace.

David Rosenthatl and, family were my next door neighbors growing up... I am so devestated as, are my family.... He and Cecil were like my brothers... David was always quiet but always knew me and, showed love to me.... I use to wheel a chalkboard in their garage and, pretend i was a teacher.... We played games , drew ,and wrote their names all the time.. I have so many great memories with them... When they were Bar mitzva there wasn't a dry eye in the shul... Rip David I love you......
