I feel so privileged to have known Sam Gottesman over so many years helping him share his life experiences with so many people. Discussing curt event and life issues always enhanced my time with him. May his memory be a blessing.

The passing of your dear father makes my heart heavy. I first met him when he agreed to share his story at the March of Remembrance which we observed as Christians along with the Jewish community -Yom HaShoah. We walked from the Jewish Comm. Ctr. to Flagstaff Hill, where he shared and then we had a name reading ceremony while the candles were lit, letting the Jewish community know that we haven't forgotten!!! We also read a declaration pledging "Never Again". Gave your Dad a framed copy. He continued to bless us by joining us when we "married" the National Day of Prayer and the MOR ,began meeting on the 1st Thursday of each May at Market Square and prayed in Hebrew for the peace of Jerulaslem during the "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem".segment as commanded in Holy Scripture. I extend condolences to each of you on behalf of the Planning Committee. Our lives have been richer because we met and loved Sam. My prayer is that he "knew" we loved him. We sure told him often!!!! Forever in our hearts, Katie
