I am so sorry for your loss. I also swam with Charlie at the JCC. He was always so pleasant and welcoming.

For many years we swam together during the summer - often sharing a lane - and I always enjoyed his company. I would look forward to our pre and post swim conversations as Charlie was as intelligent as he was insightful and he had a marvelous sense of humor. He was a proud father, grandfather and husband and always shared stories about his family. The JCC Monroeville Pool will not be the same without him. My deepest condolences to all.

Dear Pauline, Eric, Josh and family,
We wanted to thank you for sharing this wonderful man with us. We feel so fortunate to have had him as a friend for many, many years. Charlie was always uplifting and a pleasure to be with. His eyes lit up whenever he spoke of his family. He made this world a better place and will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.
