EARL GLASSER: Passed away peacefully at his Fox Chapel residence on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Sheila Glasser. Beloved father of Michael Glasser and Staci Glasser Bush. Brother of the late Sanford Glasser. Grandfather of Ashley Glasser and Noah Bush. Uncle of Jay Glasser. Earl was the owner of Medical Center Opticians in Oakland, serving the community for over 56 years. In retirement he enjoyed winters in Florida, lunches with special friends, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. As the hero of the family, he will be sadly missed and will leave behind many treasured memories. Friends may meet at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Tuesday at 10 AM and then proceed to Beth Shalom Cemetery for 11 AM Graveside Services.
