Dear Dan and Bruce, We just read in the Chronicle of your mother's passing. We go back to Montefiore Hospital and our friendship in Mt. Lebanon all these years. Your mother was such an inspirational person, always learning and doing. Our thoughts are with you---know that she has a place in our hearts. With love, Maxine and Gil Isaacs

Dear Dan and Bruce I was a good friend and colleague of your fathers. We spent many years teaching immunology to medical students and writing review papers together. One of the last times I interacted with him we played 18 holes of golf at the Lakes course at Chautauqua. We have a home on the grounds and every summer I would visit your mother, sit on the front porch, and she would talk about you and her grandchildren. Obviously, she was extremely proud of her family. I’m glad that I had the chance of knowing and interacting with your wonderful parents.
