DELORES (DEE) LAINE: An incredibly special mom, grandma and GG passed away on January 21st. Her children Mitch Laine (Tish Liggett) of Fredericksburg, VA and Karen Lazar (Lee) of Chicago, remember a loving, caring, wise and independent woman who always stayed true to her beliefs and values. Joined in those thoughts are her grandchildren Stephen Lazar (Lindsey Harr) of Brooklyn, NY and Wendy Kerschner (Brian) of Chicago, IL. Her love was also embraced by her great grandsons, Judah and Nate. Dee was pre-deceased by her husband of 60 years, Chuck, who died 16 years ago, on the same date. I worked at Riverview Towers for a year and Dee was one of the loveliest women I was lucky enough to meet.
She always had a smile and kind word for me, when she wasn\\\'t straightening up the books in the building \\\"library.\\\"
I would always make a special trip to Giant Eagle to buy her birthday cake as she preferred it to Costco\\\'s.
My condolences to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and many, many friends.
