Loving father of Andrea Solomon Cohen (Daniel Cohen) and Michael H. Solomon. Brother of Jerome (Rae) Solomon, June (late Lawrence) Lebovitz, Eileen (late Eli) Berger and the late Harold Solomon. Grandpa to Noah Harold Solomon and Rebekah Faye Cohen. Gilbert was also loved by Kristyn Conrad, Ronald L. Post Jr. and Wayde D. Post. He was also survived by nieces and nephews.
