NAOMI MARGOLIS: Naomi Margolis departed her loving family on November 13, 2022. Naomi was born in Pgh on December 12, 1955. She was a doting, caring & loving mother to Avram, Felicia, & Jessica. She raised her children in Pgh, Squirrel Hill. Naomi was married for 40 years to a dedicated & devoted man who admired & cherished her. As a teacher & Daycare/Preschool owner, Naomi was known for her caring & heartfelt ways with every child. She raised each one as her own. Her daycare started small in her house while raising her own children & quickly took off. Then, she moved her daycare to a separate building in Wilkins Township. Some of the grown children’s families she taught follow up & thank her for how their children were adored. Her hobbies included watching cooking shows, ice skating on tv, & shopping. Naomi had a passion for seeing musicals & going to the movies. She loved attending parties & was always the life of the party! Naomi enjoyed reading books & magazines. She took great pleasure in cooking huge meals for her family, especially for the Jewish holidays. Naomi was the happiest when she was around her family. Her granddaughter, Shoshana, was the apple of her eye. She was beyond proud of her & lived for Shoshana. Naomi was infatuated with being a Bubbie & always said it was her favorite thing in the world! She is survived by her husband, Steven Margolis, children Avram Margolis, Felicia Kass (Will Kass), Jessica Margolis (Shane Pastura), & granddaughter Shoshana Margolis. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 11 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services (10 AM - 11 AM). Interment Private.
