Graduated Duquesne High School Class of 64 with Jerry. Grew up with Jerry in Duquesne PA when he lived on Friendship Street and we lived on Wilmont Street. Shared many a birthday party over the years. Jerry along with Alan Landay, Chuck Teichart and myself made up Rockets Unlimited during high school as we built and shot off rockets. Always a fun guy and he will be missed. RIP Jerry!

I grew up knowing Jerry and his family as cousins . Though we never lived close by he was always happy to see me and my family and has been kind and generous. I will miss our conversations even though they were not frequent . Sending big hugs to Judy and Lindsay.

I knew Jerry as a trial lawyer colleague and friend for over 40 yrs. He was an exceptional lawyer, dedicated to his clients and their cases, more knowledgeable than many re medical issues, made important law in support of our clients. A big loss to the trial bar and to his family.

I had the pleasure of working with Jerry for a few years. Such a brilliant man and educator. So very saddened to hear of his passing. He did great things for so many who needed help and resolution. My sincere condolences to Judy and Lindsay.

Kind, generous, brilliant, innovative. These were a few of the words that members of the nationwide legal community used to describe Jerry Meyers. I got to know Jerry over the last decade in our collaborative efforts to protect patients access to information about their medical care. Jerry Meyers was visionary in his approach to law. While I really only knew Jerry in a limited aspect of his life, he was a great guy who shared with his colleagues. So Chuck, and his family, Jerry made a great impact and influenced the lives of many people. I am sorry for your loss. Mike Foley

He changed my life. My mother died and another esteemed Pittsburgh attorney was indignant to my family for seeking justice. He took her case based on integrity and his moral compass which had no price tag. Once he retired, the case was moving and Josh carried the torch. He was as brilliant, interesting, educational and cared. He started her defense and Josh has continued. Their commitment forever changed the trajectory of my grief. Because she was 80, others ignored the negligence and mistakes. May he rest in peace knowing he lived to serve. He had a voice where I and others could not. E desire
