LEWIS A. WINNECOUR: On Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Devoted husband of the late Diane Black Winnecour and loving partner for many years to Marsha Mintz. Beloved son of the late David and Frieda Winnecour. Beloved father of Joshua (Meg) Winnecour, Ronda J. (Judge Keith Lundin) Winnecour, Michele (Peter Brown) Mintz Brown, David (Karen) Mintz and the late David (surviving spouse Susan) Winnecour. Loving Papa to Sam Foreman (fiancĂ© Stacia Komosinski), Juniper Diane Winnecour, Joshua Brown, Rachel Brown and Eliza Mintz. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Lewis was an Eagle Scout, Korean War combat infantry veteran, self-made titan of the scrap metal industry, patient and devoted caretaker, religious school teacher, extraordinary chef, dedicated Patriot Guard Rider, loyal friend and role model to all those who had the opportunity to know and love him, and a beloved pillar of the Chabad of the South Hills community.  Lewis was an extraordinary man who helped all whose lives he touched better understand the meaning of a life well-lived. His memory is a blessing for us all.  He will be greatly missed. Graveside Service and Interment will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 11 AM at Mount Lebanon Cemetery/Temple Emanuel section.
