Shocked and sorry to learn of Randi's passing. I often reminisce about the Bartlett Street days. Unhappily I am unable to be with you and the family today. How well I remember your father and mother and you and Randi as young children. Please accept my comfort and condolences.

Randi and I met through our shared passion for Setters, especially those in rescue. We had many similar values that we shared and we became such good friends, chatting for literally hours on the phone, and through messaging online. We had such a good time, laughing together and talking about our beloved Setters. Romeo was the centre of Randi's world, her companion, comforter, and guardian, and she truly adored him. He will miss his Mom so, so much. Randi was kind, generous, big hearted, and so compassionate despite her own awful physical and emotional suffering. We had a love for each other, even though we never met in person. The world is surely a poorer place without Randi, but has been blessed by her presence. My sincerest and most heartfelt condolences to all Randi's family. May Randi rest in eternal peace, now released from her pain and her troubles, and joyfully reunited with her beloved Mother.

Randi friended me on FB through our love of Gordon setters. I loved reading her posts and she enjoyed seeing Heston and his dapper bow ties and being a very laid back dude. I know she was poorly and struggling to get better so I have been dipping in and out of her FB to see how she was. Today I dipped in and was very sad to see she has now passed. My condolences to all her family and to Romeo who loved her faithfully. Thank you for being part of my Gordon setter journey and sharing yours … Rest easy love Zoe and Heston
