The Weinbaums were our neighbors on Pocusset Street many years ago. I remember the family well and how welcoming Claire was to the little boy from next door. Nothing but fond memories of all of you. My best thoughts and wishes to all of you.

I am in Florida, sorry to have missed to pay homage to Claire, whose father, Jake was a first cousin to my mother. Claire was, indeed, a wonderful person. You have my deep condolences.

Claire was a lifelong friend and maid of honor of my mother-in-law, Helen Berman, who passed away last month. Over the past few months, Claire and I spent many hours chatting by phone and sharing information about photos from their college days so that I could complete a memory album for Helen. Sadly, we were to visit on the 30th to enjoy the finished photo album and more memories. With great sadness, my husband Paul and I send our deepest condolences to her family. She will long be remembered for her positive outlook on life.

Dear Weinbaum family, my heart goes out to you all. I have great memories of Claire. She was incredibly kind and put up with me for a summer living in PGH. We kept in touch at holiday time for many years. Sending love to all.
