LINDA ROSE SCHUGAR, age 84, a long time career as a Speech-Language Pathologist and a resident of Mount Lebanon, died peacefully on June 17, 2025. She was a member of Tree of Life Congregation, where she was just minutes away from the horrific shooting at the Shabbat Service in 2018. Linda was a very special person. Her kindness and sincerity and always wanting to help others was a part of her everyday life. Each time my family and I traveled to Pittsburgh, Linda would prepare a brunch with an adorable welcome home sign. She was always thinking of everyone. Linda became part of our family and we shared many occasions with her. She will be greatly missed. I’m so glad I had the chance to get to know her. May her memory be a blessing.

We moved to Mt.Lebanon across from Linda and Ruth and finally about a decade of living across the street we got to know each other. I think it was our love of animals - Linda took great care of our cat Gabi when we were traveling. We also connected over food and gardening. She had genuine love and interest for people. She was kind, engaging and very generous. Deepest condolences to her family and friends, she will be missed.

Linda, my dear cousin, it seems surreal that you have passed. I will miss you and our phone calls and texts. I feel blessed to have spent time with you when I came to Pittsburgh in 2023. Over the years you were always so thoughtful to remember mine and my parents Birthdays, you were always excited to send my dad a T-shirt with his age on it. The last one you sent said 100! Even though the miles separated us, our hearts were connected and will always be so. Your strength and calm has been an inspiration to me. Your memory is a blessing and will live on. Love you forever.♥️

I have fond memories of Linda. She was so helpful with the breakfasts served after morning services(took 2 buses) and so clever remembering birthdays and anniversaries----very artistic arranging platters .She will be missed. My condolences to her family and friends.

Linda was my #1 fan. She called me \"Precious Pam\" I am going to miss my daily calls for advice, help, encouragement & cooking. I loved her like a mother and will miss her everyday. She loved my dad and spent her last years showing her love daily. My heart breaks everyday knowing I can\'t pick up the phone to call her, send her pictures of my cooking or various pictures from my daily walks of flowers, ducks, iguanas and squirrels. Linda, you will be forever in our hearts and our guardian angel always & forever. Love & miss you so much
