Jerry successfully turned the business into Leff Electronics, which was the biggest electronics distributor on the East Coast.

Jerry will always be remembered as a loving, giving person who was always willing to help someone.
He never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

I'm very sorry to hear this news and express my sincere condolences to the Leff family. Gerry was a friend and client of my father Chuck Cohen. He sold me my first stereo in the late 70's. I'll never forget the experience of going to the shop in Braddock and picking out the Sanyo system. May his memory be a blessing.

Dear Anna
I am sorry for your loss. I considered Jerry a dear friend we communicated often by phone. You probably remember my wife, Carol she loved spending time with you when we were active in the Motor Corps. Jerry was so faithful keeping me informed about what was happening in his life and very interested in mine. Jerry was a kind and generous man always giving asking for nothing. I loved having him as a friend. He will surely be missed by everyone that knew him. Richard ( Dick ) Stemmler Motor Corps Buddy

Anna, Jerry has been a part of my life for almost 40 years. I can’t believe he won’t be calling or walking through the marina doors anymore. I know how much he loved the marina, and his presence will be deeply missed by so many. I hope you can find comfort knowing you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love to you

Marcy and I are shocked to hear of Gerry’s passing . Anna and family are in our thoughts and prayers .
I’m gonna miss Gerry’s daily phone call and the banter we had between us . He always threatened to hang up on my ass first but never did . He asked how my parents were , literally every phone call . He really cared about a lot of people that he never even met before . Gerry was the only person I know to get their drivers license at the age of 13 and then ask a cop for directions right after getting his license that day . Keep using those stolen credit cards . He had some great stories. Until we meet again Gerald . Zichrono livracha !
