Jennie Bernstein: On January 30, 2026 beloved wife of the late Joel G. Bernstein. Loving mother to Jaron M. (Alison Colman) Bernstein. Daughter of the late Joseph and Clara Ida Shapiro. Cherished sister of Bernard Shapiro of Pittsburgh and the late Manuel (surviving spouse Gloria) Shapiro. Bubbe to Shoshana Clara and Misha Louis Bernstein. Aunt of Julia Shapiro (Ram Jambunathan) and Ali Shapiro (Carlos Queiros). Great Aunt of Eca Queiros. Mrs. Bernstein grew up in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and spent most of her adult life working as an Office Manager at Temple Beth Israel in Steubenville Ohio. After retirement, Jennie moved back to Pittsburgh and was a beloved and good friend to many. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM. . Visitation one hour prior to services (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM). Interment Private.
