ABRAHAM (ABE) GREENBERG: Passed away on March 21, 2026 at the age of 92. He grew up in Brooklyn, NY, with his late parents Harry and Dora (Levitt) Greenberg and late brother Leonard. Beloved husband of Geraldine (Moschinsky) Greenberg for 60 years, residing in the North Hills of Pittsburgh since 1971. Loving father of Neil (Mary Kay), David (Tracy), and Andrea (Lee) Zimmerman; devoted Grandpa to Nathan (Brooke), Kayle, Sarah, Zoey, Samuel, and Julia.

Abe received an associate's degree from New York City Community College in industrial sales and then went to Buffalo State Teacher's College before enlisting in the US Air Force with the 6thWeather Squadron in Oklahoma for four years. This led him to a career as a specialist with the Public Health Service and the National Weather Service for thirty years . After retirement he was a committed volunteer escort at North Hills Passavant Hospital for thirty years. He enjoyed gardening, reading, watching baseball, and listening to 40s big band and klezmer music. He felt very grateful to have lived a long life where he was able to celebrate the life achievements of his children and grandchildren. A special thank you to Abe's devoted caregivers from DCI dialysis clinic.

Services at Temple Ohav Shalom, 8400 Thompson Run Road, Allison Park. Visitation one hour prior to service at Temple, (10 AM - 11 AM). Please call Temple Ohav Shalom at (412) 369-0900 or Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. at (412) 621-8282 for the livestream link. Interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, will be held Friday, March 27, 2026 at 2 PM. Meeting at the cemetery at 1:30 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Ohav Shalom or to the National Kidney Foundation.
