Charlotte M. Waldbaum: On Thursday, April 9, 2026. Beloved Wife of Harry Waldbaum. Sister of Barbara (Douglas) Layman. Charlotte is also survived by her nephew, Scot Layman and a great niece and nephew. Charlotte was born on February 27, 1947 in Erie, PA to Margaret and Harry Cooper. She graduated from Strong Vincent High School. Charlotte met Harry Waldbaum in Cleveland, Ohio, and the two married in 1990. She and Harry moved to Pittsburgh when Charlotte received a job offer at the VA hospital, where she would work until retirement. Charlotte loved non-fiction literature, classical music, art, cooking books, and reading the Wall Street Journal. Her passions included gardening, tinkering with mechanical items, and, most of all, cats. She was loved by many. Graveside Service and Interment will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 1 PM at Homewood Cemetery, 1599 S Dallas Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217.
