PHYLLIS H. SCHWARTZ: It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phyllis H. Schwartz, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 96. Phyllis was born on July 26, 1929 in Philadelphia and adopted by her loving parents, Freda and Alec Shusett. Her life was a testament to warmth, kindness, and an enduring spirit that touched all who had the privilege to know her.

Phyllis was predeceased by her husbands, Bernard (Buddy) Schwartz, Marvin Isack and stepson Mark Isack. She was a devoted mother to her children, Rhona Morgan (Bob), Marlene Ambrose (Joey), and Louis Schwartz (Arlene Cullen), and to her step-children, Marsha Lester and Ron Isack. Her nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren, Jaime Rigdon (Lee), Ali Morgan, Michael Schwartz, David Schwartz, and her great-grandchildren, Ben, Walter, Molly and Claire Rigdon, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Phyllis had an unparalleled ability to make everyone around her feel valued and appreciated. Her laughter and ever present smile were infectious. She will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love and laughter will forever remain in our hearts. May her memory forever be a blessing.

Our Condolences of the loss of Phyllis. We met while my mother(Pat) was at JV in Forest Hills. Phyllis was a wonderful person and always made the weekly visits interesting with a family story. Not too many 90+ folks with a "fist bump" like Phyllis. She was truly missed after the move. RIP my friend...
