DR. JACK H. PINCUS: On Monday, May 18th, 2026 at the age of 99. Beloved husband of the late Joanne L. Pincus. Preceded in death by his loving parents, Abraham and Celia Pincus. Beloved father of Steven (Clara) Pincus, the late Carole F. (Timothy) Troup, and the late Ronald H. (Susie) Pincus. Brother of the late Merle (Irving) Bennett. Grandfather of Nathan Pincus. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Doctor Pincus was a beloved doctor in the Monroeville area where he operated his own practice for over 30 years, making house calls and delivering babies. Through one of his deliveries, he delivered a baby girl who he adopted as his daughter, Carole. He also adopted Steven and Ronald, creating a loving family. He was a Jewish War Veteran of World War 2, before attending Pitt for medical school. An avid Pittsburgh sports fan, Jack never wanted to miss any games. He had a love for golfing and singing. It was not unusual for him to grab a microphone at a restaurant and start singing a Frank Sinatra song. He also loved traveling with his wife, Joanne. Together, they went on cruises, to casinos, and their yearly snowbird trip to Florida. After the passing of Joanne, Jack formed a special relationship with the late Adeline Tomey, with whom he spent the later years of his life.
Dr. Pincus did not only help people through his work, he helped everybody by his positive demeanor, infectious smile and happy heart. He saw the good in everything. Jack's unshakable spirit will stay with all of those who he knew and loved. He will be deeply missed.

Dear Steve, Clara and Nate:
Jack was always so cheerful and sweet to the boys and to us. No matter what our ages he would always call us kids! I loved how he loved his sweets and especially the love he had for his family! What a legacy he left behind. His compassion for his work as a doctor and his friendly demeanor to everyone he met. We always loved his funny jokes. We honor his memory and will miss him dearly. Love & Blessings to you all for healing as you celebrate and reflect on his wonderful life.

Jack was the best father-in-law a daughter-in-law could have. I was very blessed to have in my life. I will heating him say (how you doing kid) every time I talked to him or saw him. I always felt the love from him. Rest in peace Jack and sing a song for me.
