BETTY MAE SIEGEL: Aged 98, passed away at home in Pittsburgh. A devoted wife, daughter, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend, she loved cultural and artistic pursuits.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, she graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and received an M.A. from Duquesne. A former teacher, Betty Mae was actively involved in the Agudath Achim Congregation in Chippewa and pursued many volunteer activities, including Hadassah and the Lawyer's Wives Club of Beaver County. In Pittsburgh, she worked with the Food Bank and Red Cross. She and her husband of 52 years shared a love of travel, history and gardening.
She was predeceased by her husband Barry and two sons, Neil and Lee. She is survived by her daughter Fern and two grandsons, Eli and Nathan. She will be greatly missed by all who cherished her kindness and generosity of spirit.
Graveside Service and Interment will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 1 PM at Aguduath Achim Cemetery, Patterson Township, Beaver.
