DORN, FLORENCE LILA: On Monday, November 4, 2013; Peacefully at home, loved and surrounded by her family, at the age of 88 after a long illness that she navigated with grace and bravery. A native of Brooklyn, New York, she moved to Pittsburgh when she married the love of her life and late husband Jerry Dorn. Florence is survived by daughter Annie Dorn Pugar of Upper St. Clair, daughter Sara and husband Jerry Lebau of Upper St. Clair, son Charles and wife Karen Dorn of Dormont. Also brother Barry and wife Phyllis Schoenfeld of North Caldwell, NJ. Sister to late Walter Schoenfeld. Survived also by grandchildren Dustin and wife Michele Lebau, Devin Lebau, Ben and wife Juli Tryc, Jon and wife Kelly Tryc, Steven Dorn and Abby Dorn, as well as seven great grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many friends. She was an active member of the community in the Upper St. Clair Senior Citizens, TOPS, and Hadassah, and over the years held offices in those organizations. Florence also volunteered at the voting booths for many years and was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Bower Hill Volunteer Fire Department in Scott Township. Family and friends will be received in Jefferson Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 401 Curry Hollow Road on Thursday at 11 AM followed by Graveside Services and Interment at 12 Noon in Jefferson Memorial Park. 
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of St. Clair Hospital and Mercy Hospital for the excellent care Florence received during her four month illness and extended stays in their several units, as well as Family Hospice for their support. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Jewish War Veterans, WWII veterans groups, or any American veteran organization you wish to honor in her name.
