WEIZENBAUM, MARILYN (SHERMAN): Age 85 of Pittsburgh and West Palm Beach, FL, on Sunday, June 21, 2015, peacefully, after a long illness. Beloved wife of Norman B. Weizenbaum; loving mother of Barbara Weizenbaum (Robert Gorby), Nan Weizenbaum (Reza Vali), Jim Lampl, and Sharon Webster; cherished grandmother of Rachel, Lindsay, and Emily Gorby, Adam Webster, and the late Lauren Webster; sister of Arthur Sherman; also survived by Little Ben Weizenbaum as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews. Marilyn was the proprietress of Abigail's Antiques in the 1970's and 1980's. A passionate liberal, she was outspoken in her support of civil rights, gun control, and women's rights. Marilyn was a vibrant woman who will always be remembered for her compassion, honesty and great sense of humor. The family thanks Marilyn's excellent caregivers for keeping her smiling. Services at Rodef Shalom Temple, 4905 Fifth Avenue (at Morewood) on Tuesday at 2 PM. NO PRIOR VISITATION. Entombment West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Congregation. Marilyn was extraordinary!!!! In West Palm Beach, she became a member of our family, celibrating simchas and holidays and seders and more; and was the grand dame at Zeidefest. A wonderful woman who is -and will be missed. Our deepest condonlences
