 EDELSON, LEONARD I.: Age 93, on Saturday, November 28, 2015; Beloved husband of the late Beatrice Marcus Edelson, Beloved father of the late Ellynsue Edelson; son of the late Sigmund and Rebecca Lichter Edelson; brother of Ruth E. Weiss, the late Sira Horwitz (late Jerome) and late Joy Eger (late Albert); uncle of Risa Schmidt (John) Kosko of Plum Boro, Gail (Michael) Dickey of CA, Susan Horwitz of Tel Aviv, Harvey J. Eger (Susan) of Jeanette, PA, and William Schmidt (Donna) of Los Angeles. Also survived by loving great nieces and nephews, dear friend and companion Shirley Cantor, her children Sheldon Cantor (Lauren) and Elaine Fischer, and her grandson Theodore.  Leonard and his partners Wilbert Darling and Sydney Weingarden owned Hill Pharmacy on Centre Avenue. Leonard was a WWII Veteran of the United States Navy and a member of Rodef Shalom Congregation. Leonard made all the right choices. He always chose love. It would make sense he would pass in peace. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Monday at 1 PM. Visitation one hour prior to services (12 Noon to 1 PM). Interment Private. Contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
