Known to everyone as Jody Harris, 68, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away suddenly on November 15, 2025. Born February 3, 1957, in Bridgeport, Ohio; to the late Chief John Agostinelli Jr. and Josephine Agostinelli (née Shaheen); the middle of three children, Jody was also preceded in death by her sister, Susan Travis; whom she now joins in eternal rest.
Jody lived her life with taste and intention; defined by her warm and selfless nature, whatever she could fit in a schlepper bag, and a hot coffee in hand - with extra cream, always.
A world traveler with a palate for the finest foods, Jody embraced every opportunity to experience something new. She loved her 40+ year career in travel; turning clients into lifelong friends. She showed her daughters that the best gifts in life were experiences; memories made by saying yes to every adventure, trip, and cultural opportunity that presented itself. Her girls will forever carry that spirit & her voice of meticulous etiquette with them. She will be deeply missed on every journey she eagerly anticipated.
Jody is survived by her children, Rachel (Ryan) Springer and Rebecca Harris, her brother, John "Buck" Agostinelli III, niece/nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
In Jody's own words, and in the spirit with which she lived her life: "Bon Voyage!"
Friends will be received at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Ave. (Shadyside) Tuesday, November 18, 2025, 5 PM to 7 PM. Graveside Service and Interment will be held at Weeks Cemetery, Starlight Drive (Township Road 478 / State Rt 250), Bridgeport, Ohio 43912; Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 11 AM.
Shiva on Wednesday, November 19 from 4 PM to 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to volunteer or donate to your local food pantry/soup kitchen or the Jewish Family & Children Services Pittsburgh (jfcspgh.org) or Chabad of the South Hills Pittsburgh (jewishsouthhills.com). www.schugar.com

Jody and I were blessed to be friends for over 30 years.
Laughing till we couldn’t breathe, crying till we had no more tears plus worrying, listening, talking, holding secrets, planning trips and supporting one another whether life was challenging or just plain fun.
After I moved from Pittsburgh, and during the time my parents and her sister passed away, we didn’t spend much time together. One day she sent me an article that her friend in Alaska saved and sent to Jody years ago, that my son wrote and that she’d kept for years when he’d first moved to and worked in Alaska.
Jody was hardworking, kind, thoughtful and fiercely protective of the people she worked for and her daughters and friends who lived in her heart.
She passed on a holy Motzei Shabbos when the month of Kislev, the season of the miracle of light, was blessed. Jody’s light was strong, bold and brave as in mid-life she converted to Judaism.
She maintained her spirituality the remainder of her life. I know Jody will rise to the highest level possible as she ascends the ladder to join her mother, father and sister.
“Bon Voyage” dear dear Jody, you done good kid.

Jody was the best travel agent I ever had the privilege to work with-----Always professional, responsive and reliable. More importantly, we had a wonderful telephone friendship, where we shared our life journey. Jody's charming and humorous insights into our shared experiences will be greatly missed. Thank you, dear Jody, for being a friend and confidant----you will be missed, my friend.
